Also create yourself a signature so others at least know what year, model, length your RV is and what your tow vehicle is. That along with any other information you want to share is helpful to those that want to assist you.
Hey, you trying to take Second Chance's job? LOL

    Sorry Sparky.......couldn't resist.

Yeah - the photo was taken because a nomadic family was crossing the road.

Haha... Nah I don't need more to do. If I think someone was replying to me l might try and steer them in a helpful direction. But I bet Rob has that speech memorized. I used to be on a motorcycle forum that required some type of signiture info... It certainly does help.

I don't have it memorized - I have a document to copy frequently-used things out of and paste them in. However, I'm not doing the signature thing any more.

The roads are horrible, especially through Illinois. The other thing about this trip, is the toll roads. If you don't have an iPass (dash mounted toll road device) the tolls are expensive. ($5.00 to $15.00 when you come thru with your trailer)

Safe travels and arrive early at GD campground or you won't get a parking spot. It pays to get there the night before your drop off date.

    My 2 cents.

... Just an FYI you can call your customer service rep handling your repair work and request a spot at their lot... I did and stayed 3 nights.

And pro tip... Even with a spot saved, get there as early as you can because they're not assigned, and stake your claim middle of the row. The gate traffic starts before dawn and the other end, well, you will become acquainted, intimately, by the absolute GARBAGE that hitches up and drags those shiny new GDs to dealerships...

Do plan to swing by Rise n Roll. Even if you don't have a sweet tooth, they make great sandwiches too!

You're correct they do start early... something like around 5am. Lucky for me I already often wear earplugs due to my significant other and her grizzly bear sound affects, lol!
