Toxic Smell Comes Out of the Furnace Ductwork !!!
I'll start by saying that the unit is not new. It is over a year old and we used it quite a bit. Every time we turn on the furnace we smell a toxic smell that is continuously there no matter how long the unit runs.
We know that new units will produce some smell but this is not our case and we start to suspect that the ductwork used in our RV (GD 23 BHE) is producing what is obviously toxicity / air pollution because of the high heat following in the tube and especially near the furnace opening.
Any insights on this and how to resolve the problem and/or non-toxic 4" ductwork we can upgrade with?
Thank you in advance,
Asher

We got our Reflection 337 in September 2019. The furnace smell was real bad when new and has gotten better over time. This year, third heating season, we no longer smell the oder from the furnace. We are full time so the furnace has been used a lot. Ours started by smelling bad all the time, then only at start up and now not at all. Good luck.
