We bought the unit in March 2021 and picked it up in June after the dealer ordered and installed a Splendide washer and dryer. Took the unit to the campground and set it up. We noticed the living room AC was not blowing cold air and the washing machine hoses were not tightened and spewing water. We tightened the fittings and washed a small load of clothes to test the washer and dryer. Successful on that maiden run.
We took the unit back to the dealer in September to repair the AC and Grand Design sent them two new AC's. We picked up the unit on Jan 3rd and towed to South Padre Island Texas for a three-month stay. Then we encountered these problems.
1. Water heater stopped working, with a two-week wait for a repair tech to come to the site.
2. Washer went out, leaking from the control valve. Splendide is shipping repair parts.
3. Rear window leaked from top area and water dripped inside. I cleaned the old caulk and re-caulked the top on the window.
4. Both AC's are extremely loud.
so far, we are not too impressed with the RV. Grand Design customer service is awesome and thankful for their response to having a Mobile Repair Service come to our site. They will pay for parts, but not for the service call. Oh well, better than having to tow to a GD dealer which is 1 1/2 hours away.
