Gas tank connection
Don’t know if you his is the right place, but both caps connecting the gas tanks to the trailer were cracked and leaking gas. The trailer is only 10 months old. I would post pics, but don’t know how to…

There is a recall on the propane regulators, you should check your trailer to see if it is recalled. On our trailer I was having an issue with no propane. I replaced the regulator before the recall and ended up still having the issue. The pigtails from the regulator to the propane tanks ended up being defective, there was a nylon sleeve that was cracked and ended up falling off that prevented the gas from flowing. I was busy camping at the time and did not want to take my trailer back to dealer to fix. Propane dealers had all the parts. Working with a propane you need to be sure and use a good pipe dope for gas on all connections and do a leak test with soapy water.
If you are not comfortable doing you own repairs then you should still be under warranty and you dealer should be able to get your trailer repaired.

Do you have a question? I assume that by "gas" you mean LP. What "caps" are you referring to? Have you contacted your dealer about it?

OK - that's a connector rather than a cap (specifically, a low pressure propane cylinder connector). The plastic outer part is not part of the seal (the sealing is done by the brass inner part mating with an O-ring in the LP cylinder outlet). However, if the plastic part of the connector and its threads are cracked badly enough that the brass parts aren't firmly mated, you could have a leak. It's something for your dealer to warranty out.

Propane hoses and fittings are cheap and available every where. I would order them on line, replace, and move on. I would certainly bypass the dealer.
