Florida State Parks

Where can I find a listing of the state parks that offer full hookups? Their website Floridastateparks.org leaves much to be desired when trip planning. Surely there’s a list somewhere. Even when searching an individual park, I have not found how to set the filter to include any amenities such as utilities. I’ve had to look at each individual site to see if it has sewer. 🤔 What am I missing?

You're not missing it. They left Reserve America and their web site is horrid. I have reservations and check those and there is no info about what hookups I have or don't have. I simply have to go digging.

Try downloading their pamphlet...or getting a hard copy. FL gets a D rating in on this!

I picked up a hard copy today. Useless for what I want. It shows which parks have campgrounds. I’m currently looking at each campground and noting the ones that have sewer. Again though, the reservation filter asks for type of unit and length. Nothing about desired utilities. Your D rating is generous. I consider it a failure!

I just tried searching FL for Start, city, BLM and other non-private parks using the RV Life Campground web site.

I found a lot with full hook ups.

Maybe using the FL Start Park app or Reserve America isn't the right tool for the search job.

Maybe once you use the RV Life web site you could then to to the FL reserve site and find a site.

Is it just me, or do many of the reservation sites seem a little difficult to move around in. Over the last 10-15 years I've made lots of camping reservations online. Not to say the info is not there, but sometimes you have to work unnecessarily to find it. It would be great if state parks and C.O.E parks would simply list length of site and available utilities up front. It is nice to see more sites including campsite photos.
