    I think it's good that GD is providing a package for the uninitiated to order from the factory.

    I can't help think that I could spec out a system as capable as that for half the money.

    I think I would focus less on the truck of choice. I would rather focus on the second half of your point. Options, equipment, costing. This certainly has opportunities written all over it. I believe there is an opportunity for them to make this a win-win for everyone if they implement it right. I too am waiting.

    If they weren't promoting it as a custom package option with their retrofited equipment based on their specifications, I'd still have issues with it, but I'd not be concerned as much... but they are offering it as a retrofit package work up, which is irresponsible to promote unlawful (and unsafe) towing practices. Whether you are in the tow police camp or not, it is not the correct way of promoting/operating a business. But I digress.

    Maybe they just know solar/LFP stuff and not so much about towing dynamics. Me personally, I'm just the opposite. On the solar scale of 1-10.... maybe a .5 On the LFP battery stuff.... maybe a 1-2.
