Is there any way to get electrical schematics for a 2017 GD 348M?

First thing to do would be to call Grand Design Customer Service and ask them.

Seeing the way these things are wired, the possibility of two trailers being wired identically is slim.

Many people have reported asking and being told it's proprietary information. Personally, I think there are no schematics , but they wouldn't want to admit to that.

Probably true and probably the reason Grand Design does not want their schematics posted online.

There are no schematics, but there are crude block diagrams. People have gotten copies of them by contacting GD Customer Support with their trailer VIN - and agreeing not to share or post the drawings.

I would think if they are mass producing them they would have to have schematics or cost overrun would be way to much.

You would think, with mass production that wire harnesses would make sense...but....no trailer manufacturer seems to agree. The best you will get from GD is something they call a wiring 'plan'. And if you are familiar with schematics.....a wiring plan is nowhere near as detailed. Like Rob said, more of a block diagram or flowchart.

I agree there must be detailed schematics but the reason is probably more for conformance to federal, state and probably global safety standards and certifications. The GD website does show and optional cost for CSA certification.
