    Easy Start on AC?

I'm likely to install the Micro Air Easy Start on my ACs to make it easier to run them with an inverter or 3500 watt generator if I ever needed. But I'm wondering, how would having an easy start on my AC affect it's performance? Would it still cool as well? Anyone here done this?

It doesn’t affect the performance it just helps it start with less watts needed.

Yep, no affect at all. The units Micro Air makes are top shelf. They actually make soft starts for all applications. While we don't have need on our current coach, I had the same soft start from them on three of our prior 30A TTs.

Installed them and like them. No performance issues. Will help with startup amperage usage.

I've a 2022 310GK on order with dual AC's, I will doing the Micro Air east starts right away. For the very reason of a smaller generator, probably the Cummins 4500 which is only 3500 continuous. I'm hoping to start both AC units.

My current fifth wheel with a single AC unit & a Micro Air Easy start. The Honda 2000w would start the AC unit in normal temperature, if it was really hot outside air temps it would not.

On our hottest day (98) both of our installed easy starts pulled less than 30amps combined. Probably wouldn't run both and/or other appliances at the same time, but would think the honda could do it with just one?? Hmmmm...
