2022 2600 RB: where's the Lippert OneControl Box?

I'd really like to add dimmers to the awning and interior lights. On previous years, this looks like it was an easy modification. However, on the CompassConnect-enabled units, not so much. Does anyone know where the OneControl system is on this thing? Any easy way to get at it without damaging interior trim pieces? I'm good at DIY but I'm also kindof a gorilla and break stuff if I'm not careful.

Not sure where one control box is located but I know you can just replace stock light switch ( mine is a simple toggle switch) with a dimmer switch on the main panel and still use compass to turn lights on and off. Lights will just turn on and off at last dimmer setting.%

With the one control system, replacing the wall switch will not work for dimming. The switch just controls an input to the One Control circuit board and does not control power to the lights.

You must install a dimmer downstream of the One Control circuit board output. I used a remote controlled dimmer which works great.

Hope you can find the Circuit board. Mine was in the basement behind the big thin fur covered panel.

Open the cabinet that is behind the TV. There should be a panel that comes out with 2 screws or so.

Most of the "box electronics" are behind it.

Awesome. Thanks! Found the panel. I'll pull that out this week and have a look.

I added dimmer knobs and relocated the One Control box to behind the TV. Need to write it up but here are some pictures to help with what I did. Happy to answer any questions.

The plan is to put a motion light over the hole in the ceiling. Have the light. Just need to find the time.

That looks great! Looking forward to that writeup since I'll likely do the exact same mod. Interested in how you fished the wire bundle up and over, and what you're tapping into for power for the motion light you're putting in there.

There is a hole in the ceiling in the gap behind the TV. Unfortunately, my pic of that space does not show the hole. The One Control wires pass directly over that hole so it's pretty easy to just pull them "back" into the gap. Usually I'd clean up wires by shortening and bundling, but I didn't want to re-terminate them so just coiled and wire tied the best I could (not my cleanest work but at least it's not visible).

The ceiling and awning lights are the top two wires on the right side.

I'll tap the power +/- off the One Control and feed wires through ceiling holes for the motion light. It's LED so I'm not terribly concerned about added draw on the One Control fuse - although I will fuse the power wire for the light as a precaution.

Two added pictures. The first is the gap behind the TV looking forward (unfortunately does now show ceiling). The second is the gap looking back toward the One Control panel.

Here is a link to the dimmers I used. Note that they dim on high side (positive) so don't require you to find the negative. (Most DC dimmers that you'll find dim on the low side which is a PITA the way GD wires their rigs.)

    acegoo DC12V Dimmer Switch 12-24V... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RD5MZPW...p_mob_ap_share

One of my dimmers has a whine. Acegoo was really easy to work with and sent me a replacement. Still have not installed due to time limitations. Suggestion...bench test before installing to identify potential issues.

Best of luck. Let me know if you have any questions. Click image for larger version.

BTW...you could probably remove the entire panel to expose the back of the TV. I believe it's just a few screws. I didn't realize this until I was done. However, an advantage to the access panel is ease of access in case of any issues.

    Access panel...
    https://www.lowes.com/pd/Oatey-Sprin...-in/1001312704

Access panel can be painted. I did best I could to blend given I forgot paneling cutout when I went shopping.

TV mount screws do protrude a bit. I used thick weatherstrip foam as a spacer for the One Control. I was careful not to run screws all the way through the wall as they would protrude behind TV (meaning I'd probably cut myself 50 or so times before remembering they are there).

Just to be clear. As you enter the coach on the rt hand side at the top is a cubby. In the cubby behind a panel you have the one-control. You removed the tv, cut an opening and placed the one control there? Was it a challenge moving all the wiring coming from the top and did you have enough length in the wiring.

Also note your upgrade to GD tires (on my list assuming we can get stock). Looking at the CRE3000 as well. Did it raise your rig? Also, how many x-factor crossmembers did you install?
