We live in Massachusetts and have camped at a few places on the Cape. We actually spent 7 years (seasonal) at Bay View Campground in Bourne and loved every minute there as it had all the amenities we were looking for as weekenders. Also, Peter's Pond in Sandwich and Cape Cod Resort in Falmouth-both "Sun" community campground/rv resorts, beautiful, full hook-ups and well-maintained. Campers Haven in Dennis, although across the street from the beach, has very tight sites. Good luck in your search! And I hope you have great weather when you come!

We stayed a couple times at Sweetwater Forest in Brewster. There's a farm stand right down the street, the General Store and ice cream shop is a must-stop, and the Museum of Natural History is nice since there's a hiking trail to the beach. I did some research and got a beach driving permit, and we've taken whale watch tours out of Provincetown.
Weekend traffic is horrible, and weekdays aren't much better.2019 F-250 Supercab
