Anyone have any issues igniting gas oven? Stove top burners ignite fine.

    Thanks

Only issue we have is having to get down on your knees to light the pilot (that's my husband's job, mine is turning the knob and keeping it pushed in). When holding the knob in (needs to be pushed in to light pilot), I have to keep it pushed in for about 15-20 seconds after lighting, so the metal around the pilot light heats up sufficiently to allow the pilot to stay lit once I release the knob.

Our 351's piezo electric works for the pilot light too, but some are still manual ignition. Is yours supposed to ignite with the piezo electric sparker?

Ours takes what's feels like minutes but is probably 20-30 secs before the pilot lights up.

We have used our oven once and it was a pain to get lit.

What oven do you have? Insignia has had some issues but has exceptional customer service. They claim that their rv stove has been redesigned....they replaced mine and it is a great product with great support.

Does anyone have an issue with poor air flow from the bathroom heat vent? We have the Grand Design 310GK.

I think you're in the wrong thread...but since you ask....yes. I think they have restricted it due to the room size but haven't looked. It seems to work ok for me.

Generally, people just don't hold the button in long enough for a) gas to get to the pilot and b) once the pilot is lit holding it long enough to warm the thermocouple enough that the gas will continue to flow. For the pilot light, it is minimal gas pressure so you would have to hold the dial in a long time before you risk any type of flame burst. Hold it for 15 seconds then try the igniter. Then hold another 15 seconds. See if that helps. If not, hold it longer.

When I got my TT the oven would light but never stayed on when releasing the knob, turns out the thermocouple was not screwed in to the oven control all the way.

In mine someone sitting at the dinette can see the piolet and report status instead of getting on the floor
