    Overnight places to stay

    Evening to all.
The Mrs and I have several trips (baring gas prices) this year. We have as of yet, not stayed overnight in anyone's parking lot, but have chosen to pick rv parks. THAT can get expensive when traveling so much. I've ask some questions concerning this but may I ask........
What KIND of choices are there to to overnight with generator power or battery: (of course, all with some kind of permission)

Walmart.....truck stops....I'm aware of, but could you give me more options please, personal experiences of places to pull over and overnight!!

Thanks all and appreciate the patience with redundancy.

Harvest Host and Boondockers Welcome are other options. We've used the Walmart Inn and Boondockers welcome multiple times. The problem I found with Walmart is that they are often lo aged close to express ways or busy roads. Next season we're looking to try harvest host

Depends on area. We stayed at White Cloud casino parking lot while going through Kansas(if I recall). Water and electric hookups, great view. It was in a grass area off the side of the parking lot and only $5. The worst part was going inside to pay, takes a few years off your life with all the smoke in there.

Cracker Barrel is also good for overnights. Havent used Harvest Host, but have heard great things.

If you are eligible, Military campgrounds are good as well. Usually priced in the $20-30 per night with full hookups at a lot of them.

Yes. We stay in a couple of places outside Quartzsite, AZ about once a year. You can stay up to 14 days in any one location.
