I ordered on the date below from Granger Ford (2% under). They said 5-9 months at the time. I imagine it will be the longer time frame, and suspect it will be a ‘23 model.

There is a LOT of chatter about ordering trucks over on the Ford forums....

Blue Oval Forum (forum that I think has the most accurate info as it seems Ford folks are on it a lot)

From what I have been reading… if you skip Adaptive steering, spray in bedliner and fifth wheel prep, there’s a good chance of getting the truck in 10-14 weeks. I’m looking to place my order this week.

That’s what I heard too. I left out the bed liner…that can be done locally, but on a 450 the 5th prep is standard so a person is outa luck. Not sure I’d want that done after the build anyway tho.

I’m still working on my long term plan but as of right now I’ll order one without those items and add the B&W turnover gooseneck hitch. I’m thinking of pairing that with a reese goosebox or anderson ultimate. I’ve also read that the bed mounted 7pin connector harness is readily available from ford.

The B&W kit seems to offer the same capabilities as the Ford but doesn’t require bed removal for installation.

I’m also looking at the 310GK down the road, I’m choosing to go the SRW route since my wife isn’t interested in the 8ft bed or the wide body.

I think you could add the B&W to a 350 dually but I’m not sure if it’s worth the trade offs for you.

    Ordered

Just ordered F350 dually, and was told 8-12 weeks... Platinum. However, was told certain options do cause major delays. For instance, adding spray in bed liner can add up to 4 additional weeks. Hitch prep is another 2-3 weeks. Anyway, we were told it's not the standard equipment but the add ins that cause delays. We're having 5th wheel prep installed and spray in bed liner done post delivery. Will let you know how it goes.

Allen/Cyndi, who did you order from? Were you paying Invoice, below or MSRP (plus?)... I'd consider paying more for a 12 week delivery assuming they were telling the truth. Obie

List of Constrained Options for Super Duty Trucks

All, the back and forth continues with my truck order... Below is a list of the constrained options right now for those buying Super Duties:

    SUPER DUTY
    Power Moonroof Twin Panel (43V)
    Stock Adaptive Steering (60A)
    Stock Spray-In Load Bedliner (855)
    Stock Tonneau Covers (21D, 21E, 21J)
    Platform Running Boards (18B)
Stock Fifth Wheel - Fleetmaster (53W)
    6.2L Engine (996)
    6.7L Engine (99T)
Stock 225/70R 19.5" BSW Traction (TGL, Std F450)
    M275 Axle Electronic-Locking(X3J,X3E,X4M)
Lariat + Quad Beam LED Head Lamps, LED Fog Lamps
    LED Tail Lamps (59Q)

Some are easier than others... I want a diesel and LEDs which will make for a longer order.

Again, this was from Ashlie at Chapman in Horsham, PA. They've been great but you can tell they are definitely busy. I am also concerned that there is no way to know what the actual price of the truck will be assuming a model year change, etc. Makes it hard to budget. I plan to order anyway and keep my fingers crossed.

Off to the Ford enthusiasts forum... appreciate the suggestion. I've only been on diesel forums so far.

Ordered 2022 F-550 Super Cab Lariat 6.7 4X4 on 10/11/21. $69,954.00 from Tom Hillier Ford--
Esaclon, CA. Was told 8-12 weeks. Arrived just after Christmas. The kicker is the F-550 only comes as cab and chassis and Diamond Mfg. can't get to the custom service body until April.
