Appreciate the feed back from everyone. I am wondering if trying to fill a gasser with 5th wheeler in tow would be a PITA since diesel pumps are traditionally set up for Tractor trailer fueling, meaning plenty of room and no overhangs to hit?

It wasn’t bad on our trip, as long as you stick with larger stations. Not as easy as the semis have it, but we got it done. We had to do it a lot too…only got about 7mpg.

I saw this video some time back and just came across it again.

It might help you if you haven't seen it already.

Back on track: Got the email on Thursday that I'm scheduled for production 9/26 with a notional VIN. Exciting! I have indoor storage lined up, too, so I'll be on the look for the Reflection hopefully before the snow flies and can find a "deal".

Anyway, the dealer is incentivized to do what they can to make me walk away so they can get a truck on the lot to sell. Doing the math, one more price increase and I’ll be back almost back to original MSRP which means the game is probably a wash. Lesson learned, less drama and certain price protection at 2% under invoice but a longer drive to go with the Iowa dealer instead of the Horsham dealer.

Expect it’ll be mute when they cancel the order for MY23s!

@obiewan I saw this on the Blue Oval forum from a Ford moderator, and thought of you. If you got an order confirmation from Ford, I’d be all over that dealer.

Congrats. I have a F-450 on order from Chapman since 1/7/22 and still no build date. My deal was 4% below invoice using final invoice at delivery to price it. Invoice price went up at least $2,500 since I ordered.

I also have 2 other super duty trucks (F-350 SRW platinum and F-450 KRU) on order, both locally with X-plan. X+Plan works out to be right around invoice. Since X-Plane is price protected thise deals will work out to about 2.5% below final invoice, And I don’t have to travel from Florida to PA and back. None of these trucks have build dates yet. I’m wondering if they will get built before production ends.

Order banks open 10/17 for the 2023 Super Duty trucks. First Production starts early January.

I have a 2022 on order since 12/2/21. I just got word it’s scheduled to be built week of 10/24 so I don’t ecpxpect to see it til December, one year after ordering.

Yikes, guess I will have a lot of time to save up a larger down payment for the 310GK-R 5th wheeler!
