Yes, we do use a soft start; kinda have to. At our seasonal campsite, the voltage (lack of) is always an issue. Without softstart, when AC kicks on, the voltage drops to < 107v and my EMS shuts me down. I end up having to keep AC off till voltage gets back above 110v. After I installed softstart, I seem to be able to use AC much more as the EMS does not shut off as often. Last year the voltage was so low I got the park manager to provide a generator. I believe the generator got good gas mileage due to softstart (at least it seemed to last quite a bit).

On my build sheet, it says Coleman 15K Power Saver. Anyone know if that's Coleman's version of soft start?

Follow-up - received a call back from Coleman tech support - it is not a soft start. And, if under warranty and I install anything but an Airxcel soft start, warranty voided on the AC.
