Hi all,
I'm one of the newbe's here. I had a TT when my kids were small, but have not had one for a lot of years, so I'll consider myself as a newbe. Once our kids were out of the house my wife and decided to take trips on our motorcycle. (currently a Honda Gold wing)
We bought the GW new in 2008 and we now have 135,000 miles on it. We are getting older and decided to change to traveling in a TT.
In November we decided to purchase a 2600RB. Our local dealer did not have one in stock, so we ordered one, which we are expecting to be delivered in the next couple of weeks.
The 2600 comes with one solar panel and a AGM battery. I asked the dealer what it would cost me to upgrade to the Lithium battery. I waiting for his response. I understand that they will also have to upgrade the charge controller.
I'm looking forward to the exchanges we will have on this site, and hopefully an opportunity to meet new friends.

We bought ours there in 2019. Pretty good dealer overall. Only issue we have is we live near KC, so service is a bit of a hassle.

Spoke with the tech at Bill Thomas yesterday. Told him I wanted to upgrade to a lithium battery. He said that would be no problem, the charge controller does not have to be changed. However they wanted $1,400.00 for a Battle Born battery, so I ordered one from Battle Born for $799.00

We purchased our 2018 2970RL from Bill Thomas and they have been good. We had them install the EMS before we took possession... We were pretty new on owning a camper at that time. Enjoy!
