Dump valve handles

Has anyone ever removed the gray or black dump valve handles ? I have a 2015 337 Reflection I need to remove one for repair?

I assume you are referring to the black (or gray) plastic handle. There are two types, one has a hole in the center of the handle, and a screw goes through it and into the female threads on the metal rod. With the other type, the handle itself has female threads and the male threads on the rode screw into the handle itself.
