    Imagine recall for handle problems

Here is a link to Grand Design recalls on their website.

    https://www.granddesignrv.com/owner-support/recalls

I don’t see that number on their website.

    Here it is on NHTSA
    https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?nhtsaI...000&refurl=rss

Per NHTSA, it was released on Jan 28, 2022 and affects 2020 and 2021 Imagine Products

Yes. They will send out new cabinet handles to replace the "dangerous" ones.

It will use the existing cabinet doors, so there will be puttied holes on the backside of the doors.

I received my recall today, and it states that your dealer will replace them at no charge. I think I will let them do mine as it will be more convenient for me, even though I tend to do all my own work. It's nice to know that labor is included in this recall if you desire.

So they agreed to ship them directly to you, and you don't have to have it done by the dealer?

Got the letter yesterday. After we boguth our 23bhe end of 2019, I actually noticed the handles and that theyindeed have some sharp edges, but it was more like "meh.... it's fine". I guess the replacement handles are the ones that are shown on the current interior shots on their website. I don't mind the design, but I don't like the puttied holes...

Received the letter yesterday, called CS this afternoon once we counted how many we needed. They had our info from me just calling from my phone I registered when I called last year doing the transfer of ownership, ours was one year old when we bought it. Did't need to provide VIN or number of handles needed. CS said they would ship out free of charge in the next couple of weeks. I say free of charge only because I saw a post somewhere a person stated they had to pay shipping if they were going to do a self replacement. Gota love the internet....
