    Water system

Hi All. I have a problem with my water system. When I have all the valves in the correct position on the panel for dry camping water comes out the city water connection when I turn the water pump on. I have all the faucets open in the trailer so I can bleed the air out of the lines bit no water comes out. When we took our trailer out of storage we had a water leak somewhere on the same side as the panel. I haven't had time to check it out yet but now there is this problem. Any ideas?

I believe the water inlet on the panel has an internal check valve. Sounds like it may not be working or is stuck open.

Look inside the city water connection at the little filter screen inside, the cone of the filter screen must be pointing out. You can pop it out with a pocket knife. If its pointing in, its opening the check valve. If the filter screen is installed correctly, the check valve is bad.

I put a cap/plug on my city water in to avoid backflow leaking. My check valve was leaking, now I just plug it.
