Thanks All! Wanted to preserve my septic systems integrity.

It is true, I am unable to get Happy Campers tank treatment sent to CA. Not from any retailer I have reached out to. I will go to the Geo method. Thanks all for your great advice! It is much appreciated!

    Happy Taco Tuesday!

Sorry to chime in late, but California law bans ingredients, not brands. It was campgrounds that advocated for the passage of Senate Bill 317 because certain chemicals were killing the beneficial bacteria in their septic tanks. Here's the chemical ingredients that CA SB-317 bill bans, with Bronopol being among the most common:
    Formaldehyde
    Bronopol
    Dowicil
    Formalin
    Glutaraldehyde
    Paraformaldehyde
    Para-dichlorobenzene
    Benzene
    Toluene
    Xylene
    Ethylene glycol
    1,1,1-trichloroethane
    Trichloroethylene
    Perchloroethylene

My business recommended & sold a product called Bio-Clean to hundreds of our customers. This usually started as follow up to a drain clog/cleaning/repair, & becomes a year round preventative maintenance to their entire septic system. It is basically bacteria & enzymes that work on eating all the stuff that can accumulate in your drain lines, traps, septic tanks, and certainly RV holding tanks. It's even used to clean up sewage backup in basements & crawl spaces. Used each time after dumping tank while camping, we use it mostly after returning from our winter trip(s) and let it work while our RV is sitting for a while.
