A floor jack isn't a bottle jack. And I have used the same, which was why I was careful to specify "Bottle jack". They generally are more portable than a floor jack. JME.

I am aware, and since the OP was asking about floor jacks (as per title of thread) I answered his specific question and carefully specified floor jack.

    I have one similar, it's the Powerbuilt 620471 Unijack - 6000 lb. Capacity , Black, 6000lb, Unijack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GJJZ5NI...B432FCEY5J82R7.

I've used it several times, to install the SumoSorings on the coach, most recently. It works great!

I could not lift one tire off the ground of my 6500 lb travel trailer with a 2 ton bottle jack.
I had to go to a 4 ton bottle jack.

The OP may have been asking about a floor jack, but since they aren't really the best thing to use along the highway, I specified a bottle jack, which is more convenient to carry, and to use in close spaces. And that should wrap this up.

This is what I use. Works very well and it's small enough to store out of the way.

You could also use your hydraulic leveling to do the lift but that is a whole other conversation. (That's what I do)
This is what my dealer did when they repack the bearings. If the dealer does it........

And jack under the U-bolts, not directly on the axle tube as they can bend.
totally agree after 30 yrs of hauling rv's around. I use a 10 ton w a small metal plate twice the size of the jack base along with a piece of 2x6 or 2x8. Helps on soft ground, and the wood lets the jack take purchase and helps it not slide.....so metal...wood...jack. metal keeps the wood from buckling
