She worked at a happy daze rv dealership. This was two years ago and I never got her name. I did go to the dealership again recently and ask about it but no one knew.

My guess is anything that’s left obviously abandoned in the desert will be picked over in no time leaving just an empty shell. Perhaps you should do a google search for “RV salvage near me” and see what pops up.

Here's a link to RV salvage yards by state. https://camperfaqs.com/rv-salvage-yards

If you are near Grand Design there are several RV surplus dealers. I think there are at least 3 just over the Michigan line in White Pigeon. Bontragers, Factory RV Surplus, and Johnson's Surplus.

I heard this from a woman at an rv dealership when I was looking for a very cheap part for my toilet and covid just started and no one was making the part. She said to go there and I would have a good chance on finding it but I was not able to drive that far at the time and had to buy a whole new toilet.

Does anyone know of such a place? We need a bunch of stuff for our rv and this would be great to salvage parts from abandoned rigs.
Thanks for any and all help!!
There is Slab City out in the California desert. You would want to be pretty cautious wandering any trailers or RVs you find out there. Many of them are being lived in by an out there population.

Hello, I purchased an rv from happy daze in Livermore, and you might be talking about September. She's a nice lady! When I did my purchase, I let them know that be doing an inspection before the purchase, and it's good thing I did. There was some issues, but they took care of them.

As far as the used parts, there's a place called rv dr George that's in the Sacramento area. The thing is that they don't answer the phone, or respond to emails. It's a trip there or don't bother.

So you have been there too! Did you sign the guest book? I was told by the little old man that I was #46 ... and that #100 would be the winner of a brand new Grand Design! What number were you?
