    I never got the ARC to work at all, HDMI cable also will not work, at least for me

    I ended up with this and it works... there is a slight buzz when the hot water heater turns on (electric) if I have the lights dimmed down... go figure but it's liveable.

    Good luck

    I wouldn't waist time with the Furion, its junk. Get a good replacement for the Furion or a soundbar.

    If you have a TCL Roku TV and a Furrion DV7200, it's actually really easy to get sound to play on the built-in speakers.

    Get the Roku App on your smartphone.

    Connect your smartphone to the DV7200 via Bluetooth.

    Open the Roku app and click "Remote." Find your TCL Roku TV as the device, then select that. Once you find your TV, click the little headphones icon to start "private listening mode." This is intended to be used with headphones if you want to watch TV without someone else hearing, but it works with any bluetooth audio device.

    Wife and I are camping now, and while the speakers in our Imagine aren't great, they're 10x better than the TV speakers.

    You actually have to go through all that just to play through the speakers? What a pain. Why isn't that available through the TV remote?

    Thanks so much for posting this workaround, I'm sure many will appreciate having the better sound. As @Hoopy Frood says, it shouldn't have to be this difficult. On the other hand, having a solution that just works like yours is a good thing.

    you have to go into the settings on the TV and enable CEC, this enables ARC control of the sound through the Furrion unit. Also, make sure the HDMI cable going to the Furrion unit is plugged into the HDMI (ARC) port on the TV

    @quicksilver_rx7 -

    Welcome to the forum! Here are a few forum tips:

    1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.

    2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.

    3) You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

    Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

    I know this thread is about "TV playing through Furion DV7200", but what about playing music from your iPhone through the Furrion DV7200S. The music skips or doesn't play at all. But if I connect to the Furrion through Bluetooth with my MacBook Pro it plays music fine.

    Welcome to the forum @whiteheadje, it looks like this is your first post. Just an FYI, you're likely to get a better response if you start your own thread that is based on your specific problem. The OP was concerned with the TV, not playing Bluetooth music. From your description, it sounds like you may have a Bluetooth issue with your iPhone if the stereo works fine with your MacBook. Does the problem persist when you hold the iPhone close to the stereo? Does the iPhone play Bluetooth music well with other non-Apple components?
