    Locked out of one control

    Witn phone app I can't operate slides or awnings. Lights I can. Next to button for slide or awning it says device locked out. How do I unlocked?

    Quickest path might be to call Lippert direct. LCI1.com, they have an excellent call center.
    Did you try to reset the panel?
    Close the app on your phone?
    Remove/reinstall the app?

    It has happened to me a couple times as well. App restart did not work for me. A phone restart did. Android phone.

    Mine experiences this symptom also when I arrive at a site to set up (Compass Connect). I think it's a safety feature, I have to "wake" mine up by touching one of the switches on the panel. Probably to prevent any unintended extension if the awning or slides from your phone.

    Is it only awning and slides that you're locked out from? If the motion lockout is activated, you cannot use you phone until you clear the message from the main screen in the trailer.

    I've seen this message too. I believe if you still have the 7-pin cable plugged into your vehicle, the motion lockout is activated. Try unplugging the 7-pin cable. You may have to then kill the app and restart it.

    Thanks for replying. Haven't been able to find Lci contact. Have tried shutting down app and reopen. Will try removing app then reinstall. 7 pin plug not plugged in. Have tried using buttons on panel, everything works that,just not from phone app. Will be home tomorrow 4/13. Can try more then.

    I haven't been able to work out the locking logic for the slide or awning either, but it seems like it's always locked right after I get somewhere and want to use the app to extend one or the other.

    One more possibility. Do you have CarPlay in your tow vehicle, and did you install Compass Connect on CarPlay? If so, is your vehicle running or key in accessory mode so that Compass Connect on CarPlay is talking to the RV?

    When I've had this issue, I unplug my truck and shut it off. After restarting the app, the device locked message goes away.
