Hankook Tires Anyone?

In my quest of finding the perfect replacement tire (which we all know does not exist) I came across Hankook Ventra TH31 tires. In my case its a ST235/80 R16 Load Range G tire that will replace my Westlake's. The local Discount Tire dealer gave me a very tempting price on a set of 4. Doing Google searches, there are very few reviews on this tire. Of the reviews that are out there, most focus on how someone liked (or disliked) their Hankook Car / Truck tires. I'm interested in hearing from others that have these tires on their Grand Design. Not to be rude, but please refrain from posting about your experience with Hankook on your car or truck.... there are plenty of those reviews already out there.

I think you're spot on. I'm going to take the low number of reviews as a positive thing. People are quick to post if there are problems and so far I've not seen anything negative. I went ahead and ordered them. I've had very positive experiences with Discount Tire. If I do have issues I believe they will step up to the issue.

If you remember...post up a review of the Hankook tires in a year...

Ford is using Hankook on the Explorer, Ranger & F150, obviously not a trailer tire but the brand is pretty solid.

I put the vantras on our imagine, not the th31 just the regular 225/75/r15 e rated model. They have been great so far with about 10k miles now.

Thanks....great to hear. I'm guessing (and hoping) that there are others similar to you that put them on and just drive. Once again, problems tend to bring out posts about a product.

I too am going to replace our WestLake before our next trip. I also saw the same tire and was thinking about getting them from Discount Tire since there was Goodyear recall.

I am a big fan of their performance street tires. Sticky and quiet. I went with GOodyears since there wasn’t a lot of data on the Hankooks. Looks like Motortrend liked them.
