    Now that is a great idea. I will give it a try Saturday morning. It is way too hot and humid to try it in the afternoons here in Louisiana at the moment.

    Is a great example of why this forum is valuable. Additional lights are a great safety addition.
    I had a short piece of reflective tape left over from horse trailer and added that. Lights are brighter than tape even though pictures don't look that way.

    I noticed on the drive to Orlando that the higher lights really get the attention of the other drivers. Several times after passing a slower vehicle and a car would start to jump over before I could move over, they would see the lights and move back allowing me to move back to the slow lane. This was day or night. A big step up in safety.

    Stephen, thanks for the inspiration.

    I did mine a couple of trips ago and they definitely seem to help. I used to think peeps were just jerks and wouldn't give a little but now I'm thinking the lights were just too low to see easily. Peeps now seem to be much more willing to cut a little slack and give me some room.

    Just finished my lights also. I added some conspicuity tape on the bottom but I'm adding some more on the top corners also.
