GE AC failure update
Got a call today from dealership. The compressor has failed on the 2021 22mle. They have started the process of warranty replacement. What fun at spring time but better than July or August. We must count our blessings.😁

The new GE air conditioner has been installed in our 22 mle it is working properly. It is a 2021 model not a 2019 so hopefully GE has the issue fixed. We were very impressed with Grand Design and Great Escapes RV of Gassville, Arkansas for taking care of all of this, in a very timely manner, and making us feel that it was a non-issue from the get-go.
We will however keep an eye on the GE air conditioner and report back on how it is doing after some time has passed. Grand Design for Life!

I purchased a 2021 312BHTS Reflection exactly one year ago with a GE 15K btu and a 12k btu units. Worked great the first summer. Took it out two weeks ago and the temperature was in the 80Â’s. It appears that the 15K btu AC isnÂ’t cooling but the compressor is kicking in. Spoke to an RV repairman that performs warranty work and he stated that these units are sealed and canÂ’t be recharged. I will have to replace the whole unit!! Is this true?? Anyone else have this problem? Also the dealer canÂ’t even look at it for two weeks and the last warranty work I had performed, they kept it for two months. Frustrated.

They are easy however to replace once you get the old one off the roof and the new one up. Physically moving them is the hardest part.
