New Axles & Disc Brakes Installed

Shout out to Josh and Heather Schrader, and Performance Trailer Braking for a great install today. Upgraded to 8K axles and the disc brakes. Also bought new Cooper H-rated 17.5" tires and wheels to put on. Awesome job and the disc brakes are fantastic. You can actually feel them stopping the rig. Highly recommended.

During the install determined that the wet bolts were dry even though this is a 2021 Solitude and just had it in for axle and baring preventive maintenance. Will be talking to the dealer about that. Also found out that the break away switch was not working, so will be replacing that as well.

Just did the exact same upgrade and have pulled about 2500 miles on the new axles/brakes. Unbelievable how much nicer the disc brakes are! Thumbs up to Performance Trailer Braking and John and Barbara Alinger for the install for us.
