This is the most important thing to remember! Don’t put yourself in a position where you have to rush.

What was just mentioned above pretty much sums it up.
I think we all have the same list, just maybe not in that same order.
I usually take care of everything outside and DW inside.
But before taking off, I'll go inside for 1 last pee stop before hitting the road and I'll double check everything inside while DW does 1 last walk around outside and double checks the pinning.

This seems like some wise advice here. Thanks!

Good. I have included on our list before pulling out to select Tow/Haul mode and exhaust brake to auto. I may not be the one driving and Wife may not remember.

About all I can add to the previously posted advice is test the trailer brakes BEFORE you raise the front jacks fully. Get them about an inch off the ground. That way if your 'tug' test fails, your trailer doesn't land on the truck.
And I always check all the pins and clips/locks on the hitch to make sure they are in the correct position and nobody messed with them.

    Tigthten Lug Nuts

I bet some young buck at the dealer is gonna do a walk through and ill record his deal of course. But if y'all could think of maybe your top 10 "I never forget this, when arrive" list, and same for leaving. MY wife would love to make some crafty crap, because she says I forget everything

We are young and dumb and launching down the hill, best way to learn I guess. But would really appreciate your opinions.
I always check the torque on the lug nuts. I carry a torque wrench with me on trips for this. And, as already mentioned, check the tire pressure. In addition, we have an Andersen Hitch so I check the bolts for the correct foot pounds of torque. I have frequently had to tighten things up. Lastly, I check the harness connection to the truck for lights and the brake away cable connection.

It is much easier to fill up truck before hitching up if your gas station is close by.
