The OP indicated he bought a 2020 but the VIN says it's a 2019. I believe that is what the topic is about. Not that what you bought and what the VIN states is the same. All my comments are based on that thought. If I misread any post, sorry.

Actually, the OP stated it was BUILT in 2019 per the VI N numbers. I’m not sure if he was reading BUILT date on the sticker or the Letter signifying the model year on the VIN number.

The VIN number does not indicate year it was built.

If the VIN number shows model year 2019 and contract states 2920 then there’s a legitimate issue.

The VIN is when the coach was built. That has no bearing on what model year it is.
My momentum was built in june of 2020. It is a 2021. Auto manufacturers do the same thing.
The shop likely looked at the VIN to determine just when it was built, as the RV industry does running changes frequently. This can be important when ordering parts.

    That statement is incorrect.

The VIN is reflective of what the model year is.

If you have a 2021, then the 10th digit in your VIN should be "M', no matter when it was built.

There will be an actual build date (month/year) in the top corner of the same spec sticker.

What is your actual VIN, and what is the year printed on your state title?

That is 100% wrong! The VIN date code character (8th character from the end of the VIN) is the model year of the trailer. It has absolutely nothing to do with when the trailer was actually built and came off the assembly line. The trailer's model year is exactly what the VIN date code says it is. If the original poster has paperwork....i.e. bill of sale, registration, etc that states it is a 2020 and the VIN states it's a 2019, there IS a problem. The dealer, whether it was done on purpose (ill will) or accidental, needs to make it right with the customer in some manner.

Here’s how to decode VIN for model year

    If 10th digit is a “K” then it’s a 2019, if it’s a “L” then it’s a 2020
