Discount Tire - Price match? Dropped $30 per tire

A friend on a budget needed tires. Decided on Carlisle Tires.

Discount Tire was $115 + mount and balance, TiresShipped2you.com (never heard of them before now) was $85.98.

Just for grins, requested a price match. I'm thinking there is no way Discount would drop the price $29...

Same deal last spring when I replaced all my RV and boat trailer tires with Goodyears. Had found much cheaper deals on line (and even locally). Told them about that when I stopped in, and they immediately dropped the price to the lowest I quoted. Didn't ask for any verification, just did it. If I was less honest....

I have been doing that with them for many years.
Discount will also fix flats (no matter where you bought them) for free. I read an article interviewing the head of the company a few years ago... He said that their free flat fix policy results in a lot of tire sales, and more loyal customers
