    Finding age on Sailun

    Just got two new Saliun S637 trailer tires. Can't figure the manufacture date.
    Appreciate any help. These are made in Viet Nam, any idea onn quality?

    The date code is not in your picture.

    Example below was manufactured 33rd week of 2020

    Jerry, thank you for the information. i should be able to, figure it out now.
    I have had mostly good luck with Sailun, but that was when they were made
    in China. No experience with then Viet Nam product.

    There are several other threads going on the Sailun tires right now (the search function is handy). Just recently posted was information about the problems at the Vietnam plant being ironed out so you need to check the recall date range rather assume that any Sailun tire made in Vietnam is affected.

    I had a Sailun go flat on a recent trip to Mexico. tread wrapped around then axle and ruined the Sailun in front of it. Code on the one that went flat is 1120.
    I thought it would be on recall, but never received a letter. The dates on the new Sailun I just bought, made in Nam are 4221 and 4621. As far as I can find
    out, they should be good. Thanks, guys.
