Over $6.00/gallon for diesel - how high will it go?

As high as $6.79/gal at the local Shell station. Even BJs is $5.55/gal. This is nuts. What's it like in the mid-west?

We are presently in FL and the diesel yesterday afternoon was 5.19

On edit:. Today 5/2 I saw $5.65 to $ 5.69

I think the local stations are at $4.60 or so.

We've paid between $5.49 and $5.59 most places in Arizona, Utah and Colorado these past few weeks. This morning pulling into Casper, WY, the stations on I-25 were advertizing $5.79. I would be ashamed to advertise that price...

Just about every station in our area is at about $5.00. Along the highways it is $5.50 or more. I think it’s higher on highways because people use their discount cards and it brings it down to about $5. Shorter trips are on out calendar this summer.

Grrrrr. 4500 mile trip (everything booked) in 3 weeks. Fuel will cost more than a week at Wally World including food. Had planned a longer one for Aug-Sep. Now I'll wait before I start planning that.

$5.01 outside of San Antonio using TSD card a couple of hours ago

Paid the equivalent of $5.30 per gallon up in Ottawa this week.
Today's listed price is $5.57 and I have to fill up again. [emoji3061]

For Diesel it is $6.12 at the Shell in town, $6.15 everywhere else. $5.98 at the closest town to us 40 minutes away. I'm a 1/4 tank from Reno Nv. & 3/4 tank from Ashland Ore. Both are about a buck lower.
