Need help with fridge and water heater

I use a 2 "D" battery operated fan that I purchased online for less than $10. It keeps the fridge at 35 degrees but if it is really hot outside, I put a reusable icepack in the fridge and aim the fan at it and no cooling issues.

I second that...Lost whole freezer full of food on Easter weekend because I disconnected battery once I hooked up to shore power at site. I had no idea to leave the battery on with shore power. Lesson learned and cooled within 2-3 hours once switch was on.
