Hood River, OR - Missoula, MT

Planning on taking the scenic route from Hood River, through Lewiston to Missoula, not in a hurry.
Looks like a great route, although has "99 miles of curves" according to one post on a travel blog.
Anybody have any thoughts on it?

If you are talking Hwy 12, go for it. It is very scenic and easy enough. Trucks use it and we have done it many times with our 5er.
    Safe travels

    Dangers include:
Navigating the tri-cities where 395 takes you onto city streets. I82 to I182 is only 20m longer, staying in OR longer works too!

Few campgrounds along the Lochsa river take big rigs.

Fisher folks in the many pullouts may not leave much room for you.

Winery's in Walla Walla can seriously impact your schedule and budget.
