Too cold to do anything, waiting for it to warm up a bit. So I pushed the slides out turned on the heater and made coffee. Pretended we were camping.

I watched the snow melt off the roof of the 5er. Waiting for the drive to melt off so I can get the rig to the dealer in Grand Junction and get it repaired. See "The trip from Hell". Grand Messa has had about 380" inches of snow so far this season and more to come. Cannot even get our new truck out of the garage.

Replaced grey tank dump valve & cable, tore out the generator shroud in the front compartment (came with gen prep that I wont be utilizing) & replaced with a shelf that matches the one in the other basement. This was between snow storms a couple weeks back.

Pulled out the kitchen table to the garage, sanded the lousy finish off and stained & polyurethane.

Cut some plywood to add additional levels in the kitchen overhead cabinet and one of the front wardrobes of our XLS 23bhe. One of those things i had planned for years, but only remembered when we were on a trip. Maybe this time.... Goal is go have it in for the first trip of the season over thr Easter weekend

Changed out the Westlake tires for Sailun tires. First time I used the leveling legs to lift the trailer. Worked fantastically to change the tires, and was done in no time at all. Also installed the Centramatics while I had the wheels off. We'll see how they work out.

Pulled my hot water heater. Found this 'hot mess'. Nice job GD - not!!! Not only did they use some really low quality particle board which bowed in the middle, the staples pulled out of the support they put in (in the wrong orientation IMO)! So now I need to rebuild the water heater platform before I put a new one in.... argh..... everything turns into a project....

If even possible, I think the particle board under our heater is even thinner and it is already bowing in the middle. Another spring look see.

Just returned on Saturday from my solo trip for the month of February in my Cougar. Being as it was warm for the Colorado High Country yesterday (38 degrees & sunny) I transferred stuff (ladder, tool box, bike box, satellite gear, etc.) from the Cougar to the Reflection in prep for a 2 month trip leaving 3/27. Highlight will be the Crawfish Festival in Breaux Bridge, LA first weekend in May. This will be our 4th one. Then on to Natchez, Vicksburg and turn for home.
