That was quite the experience. Seems there is a specific torque sequence on the sender retainer ring and a calibrated torque wrench is a must. When I filled up, well the fuel station attendant had to get to 40lb bags of cat litter. All good now and I only lost 2 gallons - seemed more like 10.

Mine has a ring around the sender on the top (say that three times…ring around the sender) made it easy.

Greased the wet bolts (yea!), re-installed the GooseBox, Cleaned out pass thru of some stuff prior to dealer visit next week and measured the height of the rig and that confuses me - more on that in another forum.

finished the salon upgrade with the return of the sofa from the upholstery shop.

We kept the Thomas Payne sofa but went with slightly stiffer seat cushions and replaced the vinyl with leather. I raised the whole sofa by ~2 inches by mounting the rails on 2 x 4's and adding a front plate. I also replaced the LED lights with the flying saucer lights that Toy4Rick mentioned earlier in this thread and fixed the overhead cabinet with a little help and encouragement from Stroguy.

I had previously replaced the cabinet doors with reed matts to promote airflow into the pantry. The whole ensemble came together quite nicely

    2022 2500RL

    Today
    1. Picked it up from the dealer, new Schwintek mechanism installed - working great now
    2. Installed a new 110v outlet with USB ports next to the recliner
    3. Installed a remote switch for the recliner to stop the constant turning off of lights, heater, message features built into the cup holders
    4. Talked my wife out of moving the recliners to the slide and buying a new table and chairs in the rear of the RV - no telling how much I saved there

    1. Installed cat door from the bedroom to the storage bay
    2. Installed partition in the storage bay to keep the cats from wondering around in there when using the litter box
    3. Installed rubber mat in the storage bay to keep stuff from sliding around
    4. Installed a hose pig tale on the convenience center fresh water port so now I just quick disconnect right under the RV, no more feeding the hose up through the trap door

Someone else mentioned how much fun it is to work on the RV when you are retired... I wouldn't know

I replaced my 2500RL TV mount with one I found searching here using a plexiglass for additional support. Then I mounted a small Roku soundbar underneath that I will detach when strapping the TV down (no rv mount now) and added the Roku wireless rear speakers plus the subwoofer that found good space locations. It sounds decent for the size and purpose plus now I can tilt the TV down 15 degrees and swing it further out.

Packed it to run down to Key Largo for a week.

This will be the first long test of the Reese Goosebox and new DC-DC charging system on the new F-350.

Insulated water line from the fresh tank all the way to where it penetrated the floor into the underbelly of the trailer. Also insulated the kitchen lines underneath the trailer.
