I pull a 22mle with my 2011 Sierra w/5.3/6 speed/3.42. When pulling through the Smokies last year, I saw 230 degrees on the trans temp. Over the winter I installed a much larger trans cooler. I’m now out in Utah, pulling 8-9000 foot grades and the highest temp I’ve seen is 184 pulling out of Phoenix on I-15 toward Sedona on a 100 degree day. Once at elevation, I’m usually no higher than 175.

I just looked and couldn’t see any specific markings as to brand. It’s about 10x12” which is nominally 2+times the size of the factory cooler.

I just drove Utah Hwy 12 from Bryce Canyon to Torrey. Lots of 8-12% grades. Topped out at 9600’. Highest temp I saw was 163. Low 40’s outside at the top.
