Suburban Water Heater Problem

Hey All,

2019 344GK - 12gal Suburban Water Heater

I am having issues getting the propane to fire at all and the electric option is only giving medium hot for a few minutes then goes to luke warm

Electric: As said above medium hot to warm water only

Propane: 2 different scenarios

Cold water in heater and turn on propane option: DSI Fault light on main panel and no clicking or auto ignition attempt on unit

Heated water in tank from electric: No DSI Fault light on main panel and no auto ignition attempt on unit

I have checked/cleaned all electrical connections on heater, propane is full, and all other propane items(stove top, oven, out-door kitchen grill, fridge) fire and work fine. Even had all running together without issue/low flame ruling out the regulator and bleeding air as best I can.

Is there something I am missing? Another way to possibly bleed air for HW Tank line only? Bad igniter/ thermocoupler?

Could it be the thermocoupler or cutoff that is faulty? This guy

Find out your exact model and get a new thermostat assembly.

Something like one of these...

It the device that prevents overheating by cutting off the electric power.

Thanks for the replies and wanted to let ya know both problems solved

Propane: I found out if ya have enough patience the unit will fire up after about 30-45 seconds and the fault will turn off.

Luke Warm Water: The out door shower valves were open and I assume mixing at that point with cold explaining the warm them cold after a couple minutes
