    That suggestion has been put forward and the general consensus is that spray foaming "everything" would create a maintenance and repair nightmare down the road. It would be a mess.

    That kind of project would be a very big job, but worth it if you had the time and money. Agree that the spray foam would be very messy and horrible if you ever need to go and so a subsequent repair.
