Morryde rubber pin box insert number for 31mb
Hey guys! I’d like to ask the experts for an opinion. We are upgrading our reflection 31mb to a Morryde rubber pin box, and the one we were recommended was the #4 insert (for a trailer 11.5 to 14k max gross). My reflection tops out at around 12k, so I understand that logic… but, has anybody stepped down to the #3 insert (less than 11.5k Max gross), or any reviews of folks that stayed with the number 4? I think we usually average under 11.5k total when we travel, but the sales guys recommended we stay with the larger capacity insert just in case. Thoughts?

I would go with what MORryde says. If there's not enough resistance in the rubber insert, the king pin plate will hit the end of its travel - possibly doing damage. The worst case you would have staying with the #4 would be slightly stiffer dampening... and no damage.
