Victron Multiplus Compact 12/2000/Power in/Chins 300ah LiFePO4 battery project

Nothing compared to so many systems here but thought I'd share our little inverter project in our Momentum 31G. The 300ah Chins LiFePO4 battery is under the bed. I made a removeable wall in the battery compartment to shield the battery from the plumbing on the back of the Nautilus but still be able to work on it if/when I need to. ATP panel just slides in and out of the framing. The electronic components are in the lower part of the bedroom cabinet. Kind of a wasted space so wanted to use it but what a pain it is to work in that little space. Still a ways to go but made some pretty good progress today. I'm using a Victron Power In and Compact Multiplus 12/2000. Got all the 12 volt side done except a few more wires to hook up under the trailer. Pouring rain here today is not very conducive to working outside. The inverter and the power in are mounted on 3/4" oak plywood that I sprayed with truck bed liner. Those panels are attached to the floor of the cabinet and to the backer for the drawer slides with some ATP on top and bottom that I cut and formed. I modded the power in to hold meqa fuses. Ran the 2/0 cables thru the generator compartment and up thru the floor to the equipment. Got the fuse holder installed on the battery. We are using our ground deployed solar suitcase to help with charging so no additional charge controller is needed. We boondock quite a bit but only for 2-3 days at a time. Hopefully the little system will serve our needs. We will fire up the generator when needed for running the AC's or to charge the battery. I'll post again when it's finished and report on how it performs.

Finally finished and all working as expected. Added an SAE connector to the lower skirt so I can plug in the 200 watt suitcase solar and our macerator pump for our home dump station. Got all the cable penetrations sealed up and the cables secured for the bus bars under the trailer to feed the generator starter and the 12 volt system. Cut the cover of the bed base and installed a piano hinge so I can access the battery easier. Overall very happy with the result even though it feels like it took forever to get it done. I'll probably add another 300ah battery just to have more capacity but we'll see how it goes with the first one and go from there.
