Traveling through Dayton, KOA is EXPENSIVE

For anyone looking for a place to stay in Dayton, OH area, just a caution that the KOA in Brookville is very expensive. For Thurs and Fri nights (off-season so activities were still curtailed), $180 for the two nights - $77+ Thurs and $101+ Fri with the "KOA discount". Sites were very close and a lot of road noise from I-70 but the place was full.

Looking at the KOA campgrounds in that whole areea prices have gone mad. Last year we stayed at the Wapakoneta KOA over night and it was about 48.00 this year (today) it is 68.00. We went down the road a bit to a non KOA and paid 48 for the site , but they had a 1$ per dog surcharge added to that .. camping prices have gone nuts!!!!

Last year we stayed at Archway campground to avoid the KOA.
