What does the manual say? Have not seen a manual for the XLS series Imagine. My 2018 manual says to not wax any black matte surface. Isn’t the front cap on your trailer a black matte finish?
Like many, I take the easy approach of using a good quality wash/wax combo. Hand waxing around decals is not a fun task and as noted never use a power buffer on decals.

Oh yes, I just did a full bug removal, paint correction (from branch scrapes), couple of layers of Klasse AIO and topped with my favorite nano wax.

Ceramic coating the painted cap is an option, but is stripped the first time you need to compound out branch drags. Paint Protection Film also an option, but costly on large real estate. Our original cap had enhanced protection, but our cap was replaced after being seriously damaged during a repair and they would not reimburse the expense so I've kept this one as described. Needs touch up of the occasional rock chip, but I had a couple of touch up pens made up with the paint codes provided by GD.

That REALLY looks nice! Can you point me to the nano wax you use?
