    Slide Adjustment

My street slide on Reflection 303RLS has started leaving roller marks about midway of slide and only does this on last 6-8 inches of travel on the retraction. Any ideas on what needs adjusting? I’ve searched LCI videos and can’t seem to find one covering my issue. Please HELP!

Lippert has master manuals available for download. The adjustment should be in the correct manual... This link will take you to several downloads...all things Lippert

Watch the video until you understand how to make the adjustments. To protect your floor from further damage get precut sheet steel from Home Depot or Lowe’s, 6”x18” x 18 or 20 gauge. Take a file and remove all sharp edges from the steel and round corners then put a layer of Gorilla tape around the edges of the steel. You will need one for each of the grey slide rollers. On my trailer black slide rollers are mounted to the floor and gray rollers are mounted to the slide box. You have to get on the floor with a flash light to see the gray rollers. Align the metal sheets with the grey rollers and move them out in the room far enough to cover the roller marks on the floor. Tape them down with blue painters tape. Put one metal sheet for each gray roller to roll on. Have someone run the slides in and out and watch how they move and you will see the gray rollers contact the metal sheets. The adjustment you need to make is to lower the outside edge of the box which will raise the inside edge. The video shows you how to do this. Only make small moves, 1/16”, and mark your starting point so you can return to it if you make things worse.

My 337 kitchen slide was making marks on the floor. I first followed the steps in the video to square the box to the rails and made the adjustments to have the proper seal compression. I then dropped the outside about 1/16” on one side and it made the gray rollers contact the floor with less pressure. I still need to do more adjustment. I now tape the metal sheets to the floor whenever we move. That way I know the floor will not be damaged.
