    2016 337RLS rear stabilizers

    Hello Grand Design,
I'm a little confused. My dealer said the rear jacks are only stabilizers! However, there is a tag on mine that says Ground Control 2.0. When I read about the ground control 2.0 system on the LCI website it says they have 5k capacity each. I know it's not the entire ground control system but are they the same jacks? If so, the 5k each capacity would indeed make them more than just stabilizers. Any information on my system would be great!

I'm interested in Janice's response because I'm pretty sure she has already said on a couple of occasions that they are only stabilizers.

    Hi Jim (@Jim & Deb),

If you have a touch pad controller on the off-door side baggage door you have ground control, which is used for leveling. Earlier models had drop-down electric stab jack only.

The jacks on the 337 are the same jacks as used in the auto leveling system.

The part that is missing is the computer control board.

You can use the rear stab jacks as levelers, they just won't work as "auto leveing".

This holds true on the 357BHS as well.

    Hi Janice,
I don't have the controller. But, both jacks have tags that say Ground Control 2.0. I knew that it wasn't auto-leveling. If these are the same jacks as the Ground Control 2.0 system then that would mean they are more than just stabilizers. Since I 'm a rookie at this I'm trying to understand what exactly I have here. Thank you for your assistance!

    Hello Huntr70,
Thank you for the info! Since I'm a rookie at all this I'm trying to understand what type of system I have. Is it possible to add the controller?

    Hi Jim (@Jim & Deb),

The stabilizer legs are operated by a switch in the skirt metal which operates 1 motor with a cross shaft. This is for stabilization only.

Ground control legs have a motor on each leg and are operated by a control pad. They operate individually and are leveling legs.

LCI uses the same fixed and inner tubes. Just used differently for each application.

    Best regards,
    ~ Janice

I promise you the stabilizers on my Reflection are no where strong enough to lift my trailer.
The 1 switch on the left rear of my trailer works both stabilizers at the same time--1 electric motor.
Unless the ground under the rear of my trailer is completely level, it'll put more pressure on one foot than the other--requiring a 1x4 or 2x4 placed under the leg to get equal weight.
