When is your trip? Santa Fe is about 50 miles north of me. (Stupid autocorrect kept correcting miles to mikes... For that it would be a whole bunch more than 50mm!)

Not sure, but I will try and let you know. It would probably be a day notice. So are you in ABQ?

    Thanks

On Dodge trucks, the dash mileage calculator reading is considered a "lie'o'meter"....Fords may be more accurate but I'd do some of my own calculations just to be sure.

Congrats on the new F-350. We got ours first week of April after a 6 1/2 month wait.

One thing to remember is the 1000 mile break-in required before you connect and tow. It's buried in the manual and actually is part of the warranty validation. The computers can "see" when you connect the trailer and record every connect and duration/mileage.

Enjoy your new baby, we love ours.

I have found the Ford "Gulp-a-Meter" to be pretty accurate. I hand calculate the fuel mileage at fill up and it usually matches to within a couple of tenths. But from what I can tell so far based on miles driven and the miles to empty, the current fuel overall history of 18 mpg is pretty accurate.

If you want a good laugh the next time you go over a steep mountain pass reset the Fuel MPG at the top. On my 04 I did that and laughed at getting 99.99 mpg on the down hill, until I had to add power again, then watched it drop fast to the usual 9 when towing. But that (blank) truck is history.
