Hitch dilemma with 2022 Silverado 2500HD 4WD
First time posting on this excellent site! It is great to see this huge family of GD owners helping each other. I certainly trust I can get an assist with my dilemma.
We recently traded our 2020 Riverside Retro (too small) for a 2022 Imagine 2400BH and pulled both with a 2019 Silverado 1500 (5.3L). On the first trip with the Imagine (scale weight 6280) I realized the 1500 would probably struggle with the mountainous terrain trips we are planning (Appalachians, Rockies, Sierra Nevada). We traded the 2019 for a 2022 Silverado 2500HD 6.6L Duramax 4WD. Great truck and engine but now the receiver is way too high for the hitch (Fastway E2).
Dealer and friends have said there are dropdown adaptors/adjustable receivers but I have no idea where to look. Any ideas and assistance would be most appreciated!

Agree that etrailer.com can fix you up. I too tow with the Silverado HD and am happy with the set up.

Hey Grammy, welcome to the group and congrats on your new rig. If you could estimate the drop, you could get the right drop hitch to take care of it. Here is a few examples..
