Nice job Traveldawg;
This gives me a lot of good info. I never though of looking at solar plug covers as an option.
In my application, I will most likely go through the back wall and enter under the couch. The cable will be about 5/8" diameter and a bit stiff. Since I need about 15 feet of cable inside the trailer, it will allow me to loosely coil it up and tuck it under the couch when not in use.
I wish I could find a nice weatherproof connector like the one you found. So far I don't see much for the PL-259 and type-N coax connectors. I may have to rely on the cover, which has been my hesitation.
Thanks for the help;

Not sure if this would work for you since you need to drill a hole in the camper, but here's what I did to run the antenna wire, with F-type connectors, from the interior to the outside. Note I am using a WeBoost Destination system and have chose to mount the antenna mast to the side of the camper when I need to boost the signal. The booster is mounted inside the cabinet above the TV and the internal antenna is mounted below it. ***Sorry the pics as rotated, the originals aren't so not sure why these are?***
