Capture Plate
Just an FYI for all who have a capture plate on your pin box. I just had my 2020 29RS in to have the slides and jacks serviced. When I picked it up yesterday the service writer informed me they had to cut one of the bolts off to remove and replace the plate as it was bent, and loose so they could not tighten it up. I guess I would not have lost the trailer, but if it had been hooked up I would not have been able to unhook, or vise-versa. This is something I didn't know to check, but something I will now!!

Odds are, the dealership broke the capture plate wedge while moving the unit. Happens quite often when you don't check for them before picking them up with a tow motor and adapter cup.
Capture plates really just sit there to provide the wedge, the attaching bolts do nothing but hold them on the pinbox when you unhook.Steve- Inventory Manager at Tom Schaeffer's RV, Shoemakersville, PA www.tomschaeffers.com
